Rubber Flat Gaskets Used in Automobiles

FKM (Fluororubber) Flat Gaskets
**Characteristics**: High temperature resistance (up to 250°C), excellent oil resistance and chemical stability, anti-aging and anti-corrosion.
Applications
**Fuel System**: For the fuel pressure regulator, it closely adheres to the sealing surface to prevent fuel leakage and precisely regulate the pressure. Between the fuel filter and the mounting base, as well as between the fuel injector and the cylinder head/intake manifold, it prevents fuel leakage, ensuring the clean delivery of fuel and accurate fuel injection. The fluororubber (FKM) gaskets for fuel systems produced by our company have undergone rigorous tests. After being soaked in 92# (unleaded) gasoline and M20.E15 at room temperature for 72 hours, and then dried and left standing for 24 hours, the volume expansion rate is ≤ 6% and there is no shrinkage, fully demonstrating their excellent quality and performance.
**Engine System**: It is used for the sealing of the engine power output main shaft, valve stem, cylinder liner, clutch, air filter, fuel pump, and the inner layer of the fuel hose, etc., maintaining stable sealing in a high-temperature fuel environment.
NBR (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) Flat Gaskets
**Characteristics**: Oil resistance, water resistance, solvent resistance, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 120°C. It also has resistance to the coolant and anti-cavitation ability.
Applications
**Fuel and Lubrication System**: For the sealing related to the fuel tank and lubricating oil tank, such as O-rings, X-rings, and rubber flat gaskets, it is used for the sealing of fluid media like petroleum-based hydraulic oil and gasoline.
**Other Systems**: In some parts with high oil resistance requirements but not extreme temperatures, such as the connection of ordinary oil pipes and conventional sealing linings.
HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) Flat Gaskets
**Characteristics**: Excellent oil resistance, high temperature resistance (General grade: -40°C to 150°C, Low temperature resistant grade: -55°C to 150°C), and wear resistance. It is resistant to brake fluid (ethylene glycol or silicone oil-based), anti-expansion, and HNBR has excellent low temperature performance (-55°C) and refrigerant resistance.
Applications
**Engine System**: As a sealing component in the engine system (such as the sealing of parts of the electronically injected fuel injector), it maintains its performance when in contact with fuel and in a high-temperature environment. It is used for various oil-resistant gaskets and seals.
**Other Oil-resistant Components**: Seals, hoses, cushion pads and other oil-resistant and wear-resistant rubber products in the hydraulic and pneumatic industries.
ACM (Acrylate Rubber) Flat Gaskets
**Characteristics**: Resistance to high-temperature engine oil, anti-aging, and wear resistance. It is suitable for high-temperature engine oil environments.
Applications
**Engine System**: Engine oil seals, cylinder head gaskets, oil cooler hoses, exhaust hoses, transmission oil seals, and various O-rings, etc. It maintains the sealing performance in high-temperature and engine oil environments and reduces engine oil leakage.
Kitchen Water Use: Used at the kitchen sink faucets, front-end filters of water purifiers, and dishwasher water inlets, it ensures the purity of kitchen water and protects electrical appliances.
Other Scenarios: Although not in household bathrooms, in the bathroom systems of commercial places such as hotels and restaurants, as well as in the industrial pretreatment stages with high water quality requirements (such as food and beverage processing, pharmaceuticals, etc.), it can also maintain the operation of water-using equipment and water quality standards.
AEM (Ethylene Acrylate Rubber) Flat Gaskets
**Characteristics**: Oil resistance, heat resistance (Its performance is better than that of NBR in hot oil below 150°C), and good comprehensive performance.
Applications
**Engine and Transmission System**: Piston sealing, cam cover gaskets, front cylinder head seals, oil pan gaskets, various O-rings, and the sealing of hoses such as the engine turbocharger pipe, air cooler pipe, transmission oil cooler pipe, and power steering pipe, ensuring the comprehensive performance and reliability of the components.
These rubber flat gaskets and profiled gaskets work together in various systems of the automobile through the characteristics of different materials to ensure the sealing performance, stability, and reliability of the automobile.
